Alert! Faked Mickey Mouse in Central

A netizen recently posted in a Facebook group about an experience of his Japanese friend during the stay in Hong Kong. They met this Mickey-mouse-look-alike near Central Star Ferry Pier.

The tourist took photos of this costume guy and then was asked for money. The costume person asked the tourist for HKD$20. The netizen said the Japanese tourist friend paid and felt disappointed.

After the photo was posted, it triggered a heated debate. Many netizens commented “this costume looks terrible.”, “Should not pay this guy“, “such a disgrace to the city”, "he is not a local guy, he is from the mainland" whereas some other commented "Your friend took a photo of the person, and it is so hot out there. You think this guy does it for free?"

What do you think? Will you pay this person when you are asked for money?
