Established since 2004, there is a free light show at Victoria Harbour every night which has been a signature icon of the city, showcasing the gorgeous night vista of Hong Kong.

It is called “Symphony of Lights” and it starts at 8:00pm every night. People usually watch it at the harbourfront area in Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier or in Wan Chai near Golden Bauhinia Square.

In December of 2017, a new edition was unveiled with new elements such as LED screens on iconic buildings, new lasers, working in symphony soundtracks performed by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

There is another good spot watching this light show, you can check out this guide.

*Note: When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No.3 or above or the Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is issued at or after 3pm on the day, the show will be suspended. No show will be staged even if the signal is removed before 8pm on that day. The show may also be suspended in emergencies without prior notice.
