West Kowloon Pavilion
There are a lot of developments in West Kowloon. We have the West Kowloon Station and the high-speed rail, Xiqu Centre. There is a newly opened pavilion located on the West Kowloon waterfront promenade. ‘Growing Up’ by is a winning pavilion design in the first Hong Kong Young Architects & Designers Competition.
This timber pavilion offers beautiful harbour and sunset views as well as a space for leisure and small-scale events.
There are chairs and benches where you can rest and enjoy the sea view and environment. Also because of its design there are plenty of spots for you to take photos.
In April 2017, the West Kowloon Cultural District launched this new competition which invited local designers and architects to design an iconic temporary pavilion for the Cultural District. It is unknown yet how “temporary” this pavilion is.
