Hidden Rooftop Garden in Wan Chai

Lee Tung Street & Lee Tung Avenue

Lee Tung Avenue is a new landmark in Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island in recent years, located in Lee Tung Street.

Before: Wedding Card Street Over a decade ago, it was a street full of shops selling wedding cards, and it looked just like an ordinary street in Hong Kong.

And after

Between 2007-2015 Lee Tung Street was redeveloped as “Lee Tung Avenue”, with residential apartment, shops, bars and restaurants.

Hidden rooftop garden

While enjoying the new shops and decent cafes, many people didn’t notice a rooftop garden there which is opened to the public. The entrance is right next to Vivenne Tam shop.

How to get there

Take the elevator to 5/F and you will see this.

Love, love, love

You may notice the garden has a love theme. Since the area was “Wedding Card Street”, that’s why they set the theme as “Love”.

A quiet “Lovely” place

However the garden is pretty quiet most of the time, since not many people know about this place. It has quite some good view and is a good place to take great photos like these:
