Jumbo Floating Restaurant Sinks

Goodbye, Jumbo😖.

Hong Kong’s iconic Jumbo Floating Restaurant has sunk in the South China Sea after encountering poor weather conditions.

Docked in Aberdeen since 1976, it has been one of the the landmarks and famous tourist attractions of Hong Kong and many movie locations including “God of Cookery”. Millions of visitors have visited Jumbo Restaurant over the years including Queen Elizabeth II during her visit in Hong Kong. It was moved from the city on June 14, 2022.
