Tai Kwun - British Heritage Buildings in HK 中環大館
"Tai Kwun" is the latest tourist hot spot located in Central, Hong Kong. It is the name of Central Police Station compound, which means "big station" because it was the headquarter of police force. They were established to maintain law and order since the early days of British colonial rule in the late 19th century.
This project revitalised 16 buildings, with an addition of 2 new ones.
Tai Kwun is a place where people can experience Hong Kong’s heritage and arts together. Also there are cafes and restaurants for you to sit down and enjoy the environment.
