“Strangers” on ITV Hong Kong Shooting Locations List (with Address)

The series follows Jonah Mulray (John Simm) as he investigates his wife's death in Hong Kong, and finds himself tangled in a web of secrets he never expected to discover.

Ma Tau Kok Road, To Kwa Wan
When John Simm first met Anthony Wong in Hong Kong, the street full of apartments from the 50s is Ma Tau Kok Road in To Kwa Wan district.

2. Causeway Bay & Mong Kok
The location where Katie Leung protests is Causeway Bay, next to Sogo Department Store.

When Katie tries to escape from the police, she runs to Ladies’ Market in Mongkok. There is no way people could run there from Causeway Bay because you have to to cross the Victoria Harbour.

3. Hong Kong Observatory Wheel, Central

4. Yik Cheong Building, Quarry Bay
When Daniel Tsui is talking with Faraz Reza, they are at the well-known shooting location of The Transformers movie, Yik Cheong Building. Not recommend to go there though, see why here. 5. Chung Hing Mansions
John Simm wants to get her wife’s phone fixed, and he goes to Chung Hing Mansions, which is also shooting location of multiple awards-winning movie “Chung Hing Express”. See the guide here. 6. Star Ferry Pier, Tsim Sha Tsui
The place needs no introduction. Probably one of the most popular spots in Hong Kong. Best place to take photos of the iconic Victoria Harbour view.

7. Tin Hau Temple Complex, Yau Ma Tei

John Simm is investigating his wife’s death and visiting different attractions in Hong Kong at the same time. Of course he can’t miss the Tian Tan Buddha.

Katie brings John to a mysterious restaurant in the far north of Hong Kong, Lau Fau Shan. It is famous of eating fresh seafood and harvest oysters. Great choice.

Every time when John meets Anthony Wong it is either at a park or at the corner of the street. However when he meets beautiful ladies, it has to be at the rooftop bars, gotta be classy. Wife is dead anyway, who cares.
