How to watch Hong Kong E-Prix

One of the three races taking place in Asia, the 2019 HKT Hong Kong E-Prix, will be held on March 10, 2019. The series will have 11 teams and 22 drivers racing along the iconic Hong Kong Harbourfront and Observation Wheel on a 1.86 kilometre track, which is consisted of 10 turns with two hairpins.

The highlight of the event, the revolutionary Gen2 car, demonstrates stepped-up performance, with almost double the usual energy storage capacity. This allows the drivers to finish the full race distance at high speed without a mid-race car change this year.

How to watch?

You can purchase tickets from official website http://www.hkformulae.com. Each adult ticket costs around HKD$2880 (around USD$370).

If it is a bit too cosy for you, you can watch it on live free TV. Qualifying will be broadcasted on ViuTVsix (Channel 96) at 11:30am and the championship will be on Viu TV (Channel 99) at 3:25pm.

*Note: Even though there are bridges around the area, in the previous years the organiser used fences, banners (as seen in the photo above) or other ways to block the view on the bridges so it is hard for people to find a good spot to watch the game for free.
