Shanghainese Stir-fried Noodles in Hong Kong

I love Shanghainese Stir-fried noodles.

It is one of my favourite dishes. I like to order it when I first visit a restaurant, to see how good the chef is. This time I ordered it during lunch. The taste of it was good, just the noodles were too broken. Perhaps the chef was too busy making lunch during peak hour.

369 restaurant is a 60-year-old restaurant in Wan Chai. They moved to the current address more than 30 years ago and they have kept most of the settings until now. You can tell the style from the Japanese words of the sign because Hong Kong was a very popular travel location for Japanese visitors at that time. Many restaurants used to have Japanese menu in order to attract Japanese customers.
